VPPPA Chapter Boards

Each VPPPA Chapter Board is elected by VPPPA members within their respected region, following the guidelines provided under the Chapter's bylaws. Board members represent safety and health leaders from a range of industries; both hourly and salary employees from union and non-union sites. Chapter Boards are further supported through volunteer-based committees and an ongoing relationship with regional OSHA, OSHA State-Plan and DOE program managers.

Through the 10 VPPPA Chapter Boards, the mission and goals of the association are embodied at a local level; providing for consistency, VPP outreach and association presence. The Chapter Boards also provide a vehicle for communication among local VPPPA members, government agencies, state legislatures and the VPPPA National Board of Directors. VPPPA Chapter Boards and their committees organize annual conferences within each region, allowing for local networking and educational courses. VPPPA Chapter Boards and committees are operated on a voluntary basis with the financial support of their companies.
