Registration
How do I register?
Online registration is now available. To
receive the member rate, you must be logged in as a member. Questions can be sent to

or you may call (703) 761-1146 Ext. 304. Pre-registration closes on August 3, 2010. After that, attendees
are invited to register onsite.
Registration Type Definitions
One Day Attendees
One-Day registrations are available for registrants who are only attending the conference for one day. It is
not possible to register as a one-day attendee for two separate days of the conference.
DOE/OSHA
The DOE//OSHA registration type is intended for federal employees at the U.S. Department of Labor and U.S.
Department of Energy, as well as state employees of like-agencies. To obtain a DOE/OSHA registration form

Speakers
Workshop speakers, moderators and coordinators can register starting in March 2010. Coordinators will be
sent all information regarding how to register as a speaker. If you have any questions, please contact

Exhibitor Booth Personnel
Registration forms were sent to logistical contacts. Exhibitors are entitled to two (2) complimentary booth
personnel registrations for each standard 10? x 10? booth. A maximum of two (2) additional booth personnel
is allowed for each standard 10? x 10? booth for $200 per person. All other employees of the exhibiting
company must register at the member or nonmember rates. Any questions regarding exhibitor registration can

9 Paid, 10th Free (for VPPPA Members Only)
Members will receive one (1) free registration for every nine (9) paid attendees from a single member site.
Each registrant must complete a hard copy registration form, which must be sent together via mail. This
transaction cannot be completed using the online form.
What does the basic conference fee include?
The registration fee includes admittance to all conference functions, including educational workshops, the
exhibit hall, breakfast, luncheons and receptions.

Cancellation Policy
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be received in writing by July 12, 2010, and a $50 processing fee will be charged per
registrant. Cancellations may be processed post-conference within 30 business days. Substitutions are
encouraged. Cancellations will not be accepted after July 12, 2010.

CEUs
Can I earn CEUs?
Accredited points for continuing education units (COCs and CMs) will be offered to conference attendees
for Certified Safety Professionals (CSP) and Certified Industrial Hygienists (CIH) who are certified by
the American Board of Industrial Hygiene.

Hotel Information
Where can I stay?
The official conference hotel is the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort & Convention Center. VPPPA
has secured a group rate of $164/single or double (plus applicable taxes). For reservations, please call
(800) 380-7931 or make your hotel reservations

To receive the VPPPA group rate, mention VPPPA when you make your reservations directly at the Orlando
World Center Marriott. The deadline for hotel reservations is Monday, August 2, 2010, but we anticipate
the room block to sell out far in advance.
Are there government room rates available?
Government rate rooms at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort have sold out. Additional government rate rooms have
been secured at the Marriott Courtyard Lake Buena Vista, which will operate a shuttle service for attendees
to and from the World Center Marriott. For more information and to book your government rate hotel room,

Which airport should I use?

How can I get from the airport to the hotel?

When should I arrive?
The conference officially begins on Monday, August 23, 2010, with the Annual Meeting of the Membership at 8:50 am.
However, many conference participants arrive early to take advantage of the
pre-conference workshops (PDF)
offered on Sunday, August 22. Registration for these courses is required and registration fees may apply.
When should I depart?
The conference concludes at 11:00am on Thursday, August 26, 2010, following the breakfast and closing general
session. Make your airline reservations accordingly.
What is the conference attire?
The conference attire is casual. Dress comfortably. Because the outside air temperature will be hot, the
indoor air-conditioned air will feel that much cooler. Bring a sweater or jacket for your comfort in the
meeting rooms.
What should I bring?
A few suggestions are walking shoes, sunscreen, hat or visor, business cards, etc.

Poker Tournament
