VPPPA Webinars
VPPPA strives to provide training throughout the year through educational webinars. Since it is not always possible for employees to leave their worksite for a week, these online educational sessions are an excellent alternative. VPPPA webinars are usually one-hour sessions and provide a convenient way for the workforce to continue learning while on the job.
VPPPA webinars are open to members only and require access to both a high-speed internet connection and a phone line. Registration is per computer, so VPPPA encourages members to invite coworkers to sit in.

Safety Committees
Although safety committees are not required by VPP, many companies use committees as a means to gain
employee involvement! Certain states (like Oregon) and the Department of Energy VPP have committee
requirements. This presentation discusses the expectations of effective committees and how to get past the stage
of just having everyone sit around and discuss complaints. Hear examples of how some companies
design effective committees as well as other best practices. The webinar will include interactive quizzes and a self
survey so you can gauge the strength of your committee maturity. Once the survey is completed, it will guide you
to continuous improvement for your committee process!
Speaker: Paul A. Esposito, CIH, CSP, CPEA Vice President, ESIS Global Risk Control Formerly President of STAR Consultants
