Six Flags® Fiesta Texas®

Alamo
In pursuit of Texas' independence from Mexico, one of the most famous battles was held at the Alamo. This is where fighters held off the Mexican dictator's troops for 12 days. After the fall of the Alamo, Texas gained independence from Mexico in the battle of San Jacinto. Take a walk through history as you visit the Alamo and tour its battleground and museum.

San Antonio Zoo
With over 3,500 animals representing 600 species, come see why San Antonio's zoo is the third largest in the United States. Animals you might see there: jaguars, cheetahs, African lions, Sumatran tigers, red kangaroos, North American black bears, grizzly bears and an assortment of snakes, turtles and frogs. You can also experience one of their many exhibits that bring you closer to the animals.

San Antonio Museum of Art
This museum offers American, European, Latin American, Asian, contemporary and oceanic art. With different exhibits during the year, the Imagenes de Mexico: Select Photographs from the Permanent Collection will be at the museum through August 2009. This exhibit will show Mexico through the very different eyes of eight photographers chronicling the 20th century. If you are there early, visit the Waterflow exhibit, which ends on Sunday, August 23. This exhibit celebrates the Riverwalk expansion and displays artists with water-related works.
