Role Summary/Purpose:
    The EHS Generalist for the Newark, DE facility will lead Air and Water Permit Modifications, Waste Water Treatment, and implement the Site Sampling and Analysis program to ensure sustainable compliance.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to Site Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Leader and/or site management on various EHS issues
  • Initiate, develop, and deploy EHS Site policies, practices, and procedures to support the CMC busines
  • Assist in implementation and auditing of EHS programs and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and GE CEP requirements
  • Develop and maintain general knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements
  • Conduct EHS inspections, risk assessments and accident/incident investigations
  • Create and Manage EHS related records and documentation to demonstrate EHS programs effectiveness
  • Assist consultants and contractors on related EHS issues
  • Assist in conducting EHS education programs
  • Assist in issue resolution
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Environmental Health SafetyELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment
