Do you have to be a member of the Association to take part in the VPPPA Mentoring Program?
No. The VPPPA Mentoring Program is a free resource provided by the Association to help your site achieve VPP status and/or improve your current worker safety and health programs.

If I do decide to become a member, what will my member status be?
Mentored sites are encouraged to become Associate members of the VPPPA. Associate members have access to many of the same benefits of VPPPA Full members at a 50% savings.

What are some of the benefits Associate members receive?
Subscriptions to VPPPA's quarterly magazine The Leader, educational events nationwide with members-only savings, networking opportunities, VPPPA's e-newsletters: Washington Update, On The Wire and Safety News Network and a voice on Capitol Hill.

How do I go about requesting a VPP Mentoring Application?
Please visit the Forms section of the VPPPA Mentoring Program online section.

I am interested in becoming a Mentor and would like to know what role I would play in the program?
The Mentor provides guidance to the Mentee by providing insight into their own personal experiences with VPP, assistance in completing the VPP application and providing resources available to help with VPP approval.
