The best practices described in the directory are primarily compiled from information contained in the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP) evaluation reports and supplied by the Department of Energy's VPP (DOE-VPP).Each VPPPA Member site* prime contact receives one free hard copy of the directory with their benefits packet. Members can also download a copy of Best Practices Directory (please login to the Members-Only section of the Web site to access this benefit). Copies may be purchased by visiting the Products page (under construction). *VPPPA Full, Corporate, Associate, Non-Profit, International Associate, Agency and Union members only. What is VPP?In response to inquiries from VPPPA members, the Association created the What is VPP? brochure. This tri-fold pamphlet covers the basics of the VPP program in an "at-a-glance" format. What is VPP? has become a popular handout at new employee orientations, VPP site approval celebrations, VPP outreach events and for VPP overviews with management, employees and union representatives at sites that are in the beginning stages of VPP.VPPPA members are invited to download the What is VPP? brochure (please login to the Members-Only section of the Web site to access this benefit).
