The VPPPA national board of directors consists of safety and health leaders, such as hourly and salary employees from union and non-union sites, who personify the values and mission of the association. The overriding responsibility of a VPPPA board member is to protect the interests of the members of the association by providing oversight to the political and fiscal aspects of the organization.
To serve on the national board, an individual from a Corporate or Full Member site in good-standing, as defined by the national bylaws, must have experience on a regional board and/or committee experience on a regional or national level. Full members have the right and responsibility to elect national board officers during the annual national conference.
