VPPPA offers a number of programs to recognize the extraordinary efforts of member sites and individuals who go above and beyond in their efforts to improve safety and health for the American workforce. VPPPA also provides scholarships to the VPPPA employees and their children who are pursuing degrees in the safety, health and environmental fields.

This year, VPPPA awards and scholarship winners will be recognized at Safety+ 2018, August 28- 31, 2018, in Nashville, TN. Winners receive a commemorative award and gain visibility in VPPPA publications and the national media. In addition, a letter of distinction is sent to key individuals, including the winner's CEO, plant manager and OSHA officials.

The VPPPA Annual Awards recognize association member sites and individuals that have made outstanding contributions to the mission of VPPPA during the previous year.

The VPPPA Safety & Health Achievement Program recognizes the outstanding contributions of hourly or staff workers at VPPPA member sites who are not safety and health professionals and do not spend more than 25% of their time on safety and health related activities.

The VPPPA Scholarship Program supports students who have demonstrated leadership and commitment to safety and health in their schools and communities.

Note: Application submissions closed after June 1, 2018. Completed submissions before this deadline will be submitted further to the Awards Committee for review. Once selected and approved, the receipients will be notified.
