OSHA has launched a new online portal for submitting applications for the Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP), which recognize employers and workers in the private industry and federal agencies who have implemented effective safety and health management systems and maintain injury and illness rates below national Bureau of Labor Statistics averages for their respective industries.
 
The new portal modernizes the application process for companies that qualify for VPP and makes it easier for candidates to start, continue and get assistance with submitting their applications.  For more information, see OSHA’s news release, or visit www.osha.gov/vpp.
