PPE Donations Needed in Western Kentucky

As most of you are aware, on the night of December 10, 2021, a violent, long-tracked tornado moved across Western Kentucky, producing severe to catastrophic damage in numerous towns. In response, the KY Labor Cabinet is coordinating various relief efforts and currently calling for donations, specifically personal protective equipment (PPE) for cleanup workers. Those who are interested in helping get the needed PPE to crews working through this tragedy are asked to contact Brian Black via email at Brian.Black@ky.gov or by phone at (502) 564-3320.

In addition to this, Governor Andy Beshear has established the Team Western Kentucky Tornado Relief Fund to assist those impacted by the tornados and the severe weather system. All monetary donations to this fund are tax-deductible and donors will receive a receipt for tax purposes after donating. Those wishing to donate to the Tornado Relief Fund can do so here.
